The equipment fills, by vacuum, distorting bottles with convex surfaces. It is used esp. for bottles of round or oval section, and there is a filler pipe supporting a rigid sleeve. The rigid sleeve (16) is shaped so as to fit closely round the outside of the bottle (7). It can be transparent, with a solid or perforated wall, or it may be formed by a coil spring with the turns close together. There is a system of pipes and valves governing the flow of filling liq. from a reservoir.
