<p>The inflatable boat has a rectangular rigid floor to which inflatable side walls are flexibly joined. These sidewalls are in the form of four rectangular panels with non-contiguous ends so that they can be laid flat, joined by flexible gussets pref. of the same rubberised fabric, but not inflatable. When the panels are raised to form the boat the gussets are pushed outwards; they are then lashed, using fitted eyelets, across the shorter panels to hold the panel edges together. Preferably the side wall connections are linked by a line passing through the eyelets. Over the bottom may be arranged a foil of equal size, fastened at the transition between the bottom and side walls.</p> |
