The pesticide contains an inert carrier and, as active ingredient, at least one compound of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R1 denotes a straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkyl radical having 8 to 14 carbon atoms, R2 denotes an alkenyl radical having 2 to 17 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, the methoxymethyl radical, the ethoxymethyl radical, the 2-carboxyethenyl radical, a straight- or branched-chain alkyl group having 7 to 17 carbon atoms or a cycloalkyl group having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, and X and Y, which are identical or different, denote hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methyl or methoxy. The compositions have an acaricidal and aphicidal activity and are used for protecting objects against attack by mites or aphids, by applying an acaricidally or aphicidally effective amount of the composition to the object to be protected. |
