Multi directional parcel conveyor - has main and transverse belts on chain conveyor apron with fingers engaged in guide rails

The parcel conveyor has belts moving in the transverse direction to the main belt to allow the parcels to be deflected sideways. The belts are themselves supported by the apron of a chain conveyor, and are moved by fingers attached to their bottom runs, sliding along internal guide rails mounted at different points. They are positioned so as to displace the necessary number of fingers and thus transfer the parcels. The apron can be formed by cross-members joining two lateral chains. Pulleys for the belts are mounted on the cross-members.
