The compensator for high pressures in pipe conduits comprises inner and outer bellows, the annular space between which is filled with a pressure medium. The space (7) is connected to an outer pressure source which maintains the pressure medium at a level independent of temp. variations compensation movements determined by operational conditions. The compensatory pressure sources can be either of variable vol. via a deformable wall part or a pressure gas container whose vol. is several times that of the annular space.
