Gas insulated electrical switchboard - has gas insulated bus bar chamber and switch housing

The switchboard contains several multiphase medium voltages switches connected to a common busbar. Each switch has a housing (1) which is filled with an insulating gas. Gas sealed bushings (25) are fitted to the housing (1) so as to provide input and output connections. Load breaking contacts (15, 17) have their contact breaking parts enclosed in gas sealed pressurised arc extinction chambers. The moving contact elements (17) are connected to a mechanism (20, 20') connected to exterior gas sealed control handles (2, 3). The busbars are enclosed in a gas sealed housing (5). The interior of the housing connects with interior connection cells through openings in the housings (1) of the switch units. The busbar housing (5) is attached to the switching housings (1) by seals (13) surrounding the openings.
