摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To directly read a handwritten character based on a measurement result by measuring two-dimensional transition due to the movement of an enclosure when pressure is detected by means of a pressure detecting part at the tip part of the pillar shape enclosure. CONSTITUTION:A sphere 4 is freely-rotatably supported at the tip of a pillar shape enclosure 1, and an operator can operate it as if he uses an ordinary ballpoint pen at the time of writing characters. By the brushstroke strength at the time of writing the characters, the enclosure 1 is pushed to a desk, and slightly moves in an upward direction. A brushstroke switch part 8 detects the strength, and it is turned on when the brushstroke strength more than a prescribed value is applied. A light receiving part 2 receives any one of several laser beams emitted from a coordinate setting part, and provided near the tip of the enclosure 1. It is connected through an optical fiber 29 to an optical sensor 2a. Consequently incident beams 27a are received by the light receiving part 2a.</p>
