<p>Nameplate consists of a flat curved strip. The arc of the nameplate pref. extends over more than 180 deg. and it is pref. horseshoe--shaped. The area enclosed by the nameplate may be used to accommodate e.g. a doorbell, a microphone loudspeaker, or a viewing glass. The nameplate may be used as a door knocker by attaching it to a horizontal pivot. A switch may be provided in the pivot mechanism to energise a signal generator and/or a light circuit.</p> |
