Parallel lift for lorry tipper - has screw bearing directly on tipper drum which pivots about twin axle until upper limit of travel is reached

The device is for raising the tipper of a lorry to a height sufficient to discharge the contents into a second lorry or a container standing on the ground. The tipper is maintained in the horizontal position during the lift by a screw which bears directly upon the underneath side of the container. One side of the tipper pivots about two axles which ensures that the tipper is pushed upwards in a uniform state. The lift forms a parallelogram until it reaches its upper position when the tipper is dropped backwards to discharge its load.
