Controlling pulse voltage generation in motor vehicles - uses voltage drop over resistor or series variable impedance component measuring manifold depression

A pulse voltage is generated dependent on operating parameters. It is used for determining the manifold depression in a motor vehicle engine. A series of a resistor (18) and a component (19) with a variable impedance is periodically subjected to voltage. The voltage drop over the component (19) or resistor is fed to a threshold switch (20) with variable threshold. Voltage is fed to the series circuit (18, 19) via a periodically operated switch (12). There is a potential divider (15, 16) in parallel with the series circuit and the so formed bridge circuit is arranged in the diagonal of the threshold valve switch. A coil of variable inductivity is used as the component with variable impedance.
