　In order to provide an electrically insulating oil composition in which a high breakdown voltage can be maintained over a wide temperature range from –50°C to 65°C and a decrease in the breakdown voltage can be suppressed even when the electrically insulating oil composition is used for a long period of time at a high temperature, the present invention provides an electrically insulating oil composition containing 1,1-diphenyl ethane and benzyltoluene, the proportion of a para isomer in the benzyltoluene being at least 45 mass% relative to the total amount of benzyltoluene.
