PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an O-ring from being easily dislocated from an annular groove or slipped off, to facilitate mounting and fixing of the O-ring, and to prevent lowering of sealing ability in the O-ring fixing portion in an O-ring fitting portion in a part such as a casing or a cover of an engine or a pump having sealing ability. SOLUTION: This fitting structure of an O-ring is composed of: an O-ring A where two or more projecting parts are formed at predetermined spaces; and a pump casing B provided with an annular fitting groove 4 where the O-ring A is inserted and disposed. A groove wall part 4b of the fitting groove 4 is provided with a cutout 5. The projecting parts of the O-ring are fixed to receive suitable pressing force from the cutout part 5.
