Device for gathering of signatures

The device has a number of saddles (30) which take signatures (60) from a number of signature moving mechanisms (54). There are a number of signature openings (40) which are connected to saddles. The device moves the signature opener together with the saddles in a first direction (94). Along it, an endless path passes the signature moving mechanism whilst the saddle extends across to the first direction. Each of the signature opening elements (140,142,148,152) is seated such that each signature is opened so that the opener is on the moving mechanism. The signatures are connected with the opener to the saddle and are put in the open state.
