<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device and an information processing method capable of enhancing convenience of a user when retrieving data. <P>SOLUTION: A computer 1 has a reading means for reading card data stored in a card-shaped recording medium; a retrieval condition information generation means for generating retrieval condition information from the card data read by the reading means; a communication means for transmitting the retrieval condition information generated by the retrieval condition information generation means to a retrieval server through a network, and receiving a retrieval result from the retrieval server; and a display control means for displaying the retrieval result received from the retrieval server by the communication means on a display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
