PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate positioning of an SMT connector to a base board by arranging downward guide projections to be inserted into holes formed on a base board, in hold-downs arranged on both sides of the SMT connector. SOLUTION: An SMT connector 1 is constituted by having a connector main body 2 and hold-downs 3 and 3 respectively fixed to both end parts 2a and 2a of the connector main body 2. In the SMT connector 1 of this shape, first of all, solder paste is printed on patterns 6 and 7 of a base board 5. Afterwards, in the SMT connector 1, while confirming holes 8 bored in the base board 5, the SMT connector 1 is lowered, and a contact pin and the hold-dawns 3 are mounted on the patterns 7 and 6 of the base board 5. |
