PURPOSE:To prevent jamming and to improve reliability by providing a control means for interrupting feed of recording member from a recording member feeding section when a manual paper feed detection means detects the recording member. CONSTITUTION:In manual paper feed mode, a paper is inserted through a manual guide 6 to a manual paper feed section 5 under wait condition. Consequently, a manual paper feed detection switch 74 is turned ON by the inserted paper. Upon depression of the print area 82 in an operating section 4 under this state, a print key is turned ON to start similar operation as the copy operation through cassette paper feed. If the switch 74 is turned OFF upon rotation of aligning rollers 59, 60 in manual paper feed mode, i.e., a paper is fed manually to a transfer section, rotation of the aligning rollers 59, 60 is stopped immediately to prepare for reception of next paper to be fed manually. |
