BRIGHTNESS CORRECTION CIRCUIT BY MONITOR'S IMAGE SIZE

PURPOSE: A brightness correction circuit which applies a brightness correction signal in response to horizontal/vertical size variation to perform compensation of current amount increased or decreased in an automatic current limit circuit thereby keeping the brightness stable without regard to the image size. CONSTITUTION: The brightness correction circuit includes a microcomputer computing and outputting a brightness correction signal in response to a horizontal and vertical size; and a digital/analogue converter converting the digital correction signal output from the microcomputer into an analogue signal and producing it to a brightness control circuit. This invention can prevent brightness degradation.
