PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of accurately adjusting a density of an output image in wider ranges of image resolution and image density compared with the conventional ranges. SOLUTION: A reference patch image 1 that is used to control image forming conditions is composed using a matrix image 1a consisting of a plurality of dots (pixels). The density of each dot composing the matrix image 1a can be set at a density level having a multi-gradation, that is, three or more gradations. |
