PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize orientation of a reinforced fiber, suppress occurrence of a weld and a void and enhance a strength, and enhance vibration-control performance without processing a core tube and using a vibration-control material, in a worm wheel having a resin portion.SOLUTION: In a speed reducing mechanism of an electric power steering device, a worm wheel is used which is formed by molding an intermediate substrate formed of a reinforced fiber and a thermoplastic resin fiber by hot pressing, and has a resin portion that has a gear tooth formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
