PURPOSE: An upper channel supporter for a partition plate is provided, which fastens an upper channel for supporting the upper end of a partition plate by using a T-bar suspending from a slab or a carrying bar without using a nail and is easy to remove an upper channel, so that a nail hole isn't remained on a ceiling after removing an upper channel. CONSTITUTION: A partition plate using a pair of upper panel supporters (1) is installed with the steps of; at the state of that a ceiling (h) is installed to a flange (c) of a T-bar (b) suspending from a carrying bar (a), inserting a flange clip (3) of an upper channel supporter (1) on one side of a flange (c) by exposing a ceiling (h) a bit and inserting one side of a fitting plate (6); inserting a flange clip (2) of another upper supporter (1') and a fitting plate clip (3) to the opposite flange (b) of the upper channel supporter (1) and a fitting plate (6); drilling a coupling hole which bores through an end wall (4) of an opposite-upper channel supporter (1') or (1) from an end wall (4) of a side-upper channel supporter (1) or (1') and inserting a bolt-nut (7) to settle upper channel supporters (1, 1'); lifting up a horizontal plate (e) of an H-shaped supper channel (d) on the lower part of a fitting plate clip (4) and boring a nail hole through the center of a fitting plate (6), then fixing an upper channel (d) by hammering a screw nail (f); inserting the top of a partition plate (g) into the space under a horizontal plate (e) of an upper channel (d).
