PURPOSE:To enable automatic regulation of a comparison voltage for comparing a frequency signal. CONSTITUTION:A signal control device l processes a frequency signal generated by a frequency generator (FG) 12 provided for a motor (M) 10 which is used for a data recorder, for instance. Frequency signals (FGA, FGB) of two phases generated by the frequency generator(FG) 12 are compared with comparison voltages (offset voltages; REFA, REFB) and converted into comparison result signals (S14, S16) in a digital form. CPU 20 of the signal control device 1 and a computer 30 regulate the comparison voltages, in cooperation, so that the duty ratio of these comparison result signals and a jitter amount of the duty ratio be within prescribed ranges. |
