The present invention relates to a method for testing the water content of lubricant in a ship engine by considering the insertion angle of a water sensor, having effects in conducting a test in the same condition as the actual condition. A device for testing the water content of lubricant in a ship engine of the present invention comprises: a circulation pump having a suction pipe and a discharge pipe; a ship engine lubricant storage tank for communicating one side of an upper end unit with a first pipe, and for communicating one side of a lower end unit with the suction pipe; and a test container having a third pipe for communicating one side with a second pipe, and for communicating the other side with one side of an upper surface unit of the ship engine lubricant storage tank, provided with at least one penetration socket for inserting a water sensor. |
