PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide force control suitable for size of an occupant, by placing an adjustable deflection element on a baffle plate and adjusting levels of tensile strength based on the position of the deflection element. SOLUTION: An adjusting disc 18 has a cutout 26 with a control cam 28, and a journal 30 cooperates with the control cam 28. The journal 30 is combined with a deflection element 32, and the deflection element 32 is loaded into the control disc 34 such that it can pivot. A metallic band 36 is wounded on the peripheral edge of the control disc 34. One end of the metallic band 36 is combined with a belt spool 12, the inner end of the belt is fixed on a tubular core attached on an axis 24 such that the tubular core can not rotate, and the belt expands from the peripheral edge of the control disc 34 through a baffle plate between the deflection element 32 and a cam on the control disc 34. Strength with which the metallic band 36 is pulled through the baffle plate is adjusted according to a position of the deflection element 32 on the control disc 34. |
