PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book cover with a bookmark which can mark as far as a line of a page, which a reader has left half-read, of a vertically or laterally printed book. SOLUTION: This book cover comprises a base of the bookmark which is fixed to the spine of a cover body and has an appropriate length and also a plurality of notches formed at the apex part of the cover body. In addition, an appropriate spot in the middle of the bookmark can be inserted into and stopped by the notches.
