<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing-less rotating machine in which the fitting position of a position sensor in the radial direction is close to a fixing member or embedded to shorten a length in the axial direction. <P>SOLUTION: In a bearing-less rotating machine 10, a support winding 17 for supporting a rotor and a motor winding 3 not shown in figure are arranged. A part of slot teeth 21A and slot teeth 21B at the fitting part of a position sensor 11 is cut to be a U shape in cross section. The position sensor 11 is arranged with no motor winding applied. In order to make axial support magnetic flux symmetrical, slot teeth 21C opposite to the slot teeth 21A at an angle of 180°, and slot teeth 21D opposite to the slot teeth 21B at an angle of 180° are cut to be U shapes in cross section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
