Pins (43) spaced apart around the axle comprise a locking segment (431) secured to the side (414) of the brake disc (40) facing the wheel hub sleeve (30) and an adapter segment (432) on the opposite side (415) of the disc to the locking segment. The adapter segment can be inserted into a hole (361) in one end of the sleeve in order to secure the brake disc to the latter. The locking segment can not be moved in the axial direction relative to the brake disc face. The wheel hub sleeve has a disc fastener section (36) with face (362) extending in the radial direction relative to the axle. Axial holes for receiving adapter segments are provided in the face of the disc fastener section.
