CONSTITUTION: The current flowing to the DC arc furnace 5 connected to a bus 3 is detected by a current transformer CT, a signal voltage having a value corresponding to the detected value of the detected current is generated by an RMS 21, and a pulse generating circuit 32 compares the signal voltage generated by a saw-tooth wave generating circuit 25, generated on the basis of the current flowing to the bus 3, with the signal voltage generated by the RMS 21, thereby controlling the current flowing to a shunting reactor 34 connected to the bus according to the comparison signal of the pulse generating circuit 32. |
