1430135 Gas filter cleaned by reverse flow INTENSIV-FILTER GmbH & CO KG 25 May 1973 [27 Feb 1973] 25043/73 Heading B1T Gas filtering apparatus has inward-flow filter bags each discharging through a rectangularsection duct, each duct having a pair of nozzles 25 adjacent its narrow walls for reverse flow clearing. Compressed gas is supplied from reservoir 29 through solenoid 28 to each pair of nozzles in short (milliseconds) pulses and induces reverse flow of filtered gas. Fig. 2 (not shown) illustrates the nozzles (Laval nozzles). The bags may be of textile felt with inner wire cages or mats, and the housing may have a dust outlet valve or bin.
