The present invention relates to a plate of composite material specially designed to be used for shielding buildings in general, but which can also be used for shielding aircraft, boats, military vehicles and other uses where a shielding system is required. The architectural shielding plate is formed by a steel plate (11) with flexible elastic deformation elements (13) mounted on the rear surface thereof and suitably distributed to provide a balanced support for the plate (10) when the plate is mounted on a vertical wall (20), the front or rear surface of the steel plate (11) being covered with a finishing layer (12).
