PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of mechanical, electrical or chemical stress at the joint of electric conductor forming a stator winding, by forming the joint in the shape of ball at the time of jointing an electrical conductor included in the stator with the stator. SOLUTION: A joint 33f is formed by the TIG welding, after end portions 33d of the neighboring conductor segment 33 are provided adjacently while these are in contact with each other, by providing closely a nozzle including a tungsten electrode to the adjacent area. For example, when a conductor segment 33 is formed of copper having a higher thermal conductivity, such segment is fused up to the area near the end portion 33d at the time of welding, and therefore entire part of the joint 33f is rounded by the surface tension to become a ball shape having no edge portion. Moreover, thickness (T) of the joint area 33f becomes larger than the thickness (t) of the rectangular cross-sectional conductor of the conductor segment 33. Moreover, width W of the joint 33f becomes larger than Width W×2 of two rectangular cross-sectional conductor of the conductor segment 33.
