Supporting structure for a multi-hull sailing boat which can be oriented on either side of the axis of displacement (A.D) of the boat. The invention relates to a device making it possible to enhance the performance of sailing boats. It consists of a supporting structure (S.P) arranged horizontally on three floats (F.a-F.b-F.t) pivoting on three substantially vertical axes; of a mast sloping backwards in the median vertical plane (P.V.M.) of the (S.P.); of a keel (D.) pivoting on an axis which is inclined downwards towards the rear in the (P.V.M.) plane; of a retainer (R.) and of a control (C.D) keeping the keel in one or other of the oblique planes parallel to the direction (A.D). The floats carry one fin at the rear so as to be orientated in the direction of the boat. The keel placed in front of its axis of pivoting orients itself under the thrust of the water, it can be raised for a following wind or for beaching the boat. The structure oriented to windward gives rise to the inclination of the mast to windward, which has the effect of pulling the boat upwards and enhancing its performance. <IMAGE>
