The invention concerns a horizontal shower caisson for hydromassage different from the vertical shower massage systems where the user is in a standing position, which requires from the musculature which exerts stress on the bone structure like bracing wires on the mast of a ship a continuous contraction. The apparatus enables the user to lie down as on a masseur's couch, ensuring complete relaxation of the muscles (fig. 2). The apparatus is made up of a horizontal tub (fig. 1) for lying down which contains water and used for collecting it. On this tub is mounted by means of hinges a dome (fig. 3) which closes upon it; on the ceiling of the dome spraying ramps are fixed so as to cover completely the body lying beneath (fig. 4). These ramps are fixed by means of rotary joints (fig. 6) which provide them with a rotating movement transmitted by a coupling bar which induces a pendular movement to the spraying nozzles placed thereon (fig. 7). The jets enables the maximum covering of the exposed surfaces beneath (fig. 5). The said two assembled parts are set on a supporting reinforcement which is itself lined with a covering panel (fig. 8). Inside the supporting reinforcement the whole machinery and the automated systems are installed. The assembled apparatus can be placed and removed anywhere since it requires an infrastructure similar to a dish-washing machine. |
