PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover device which is adaptable for installation by one kind of device, excellent in mountability and capable of improving the versatility irrespective of the positional relationship between a roof and a rain gutter or the width of the rain gutter. SOLUTION: This cover device comprises a rain gutter cover 1 which is supported by a roof tip portion Ra, provided with an external edge 2 attached to an external open edge Ta, and provided with a flow-down part 4 to receive the rain from a roof R and allow it to flow downward and a flow inlet part 5 to allow the rain flowing down the flow-down part 4 to flow into a rain gutter T, and a support member 20 which is connected to the rain gutter cover 1, supports the rain gutter cover 1 by the roof tip part Ra and covers a portion between the roof tip portion Ra and the rain gutter cover 1. The rain gutter cover 1 comprises an external cover 6 and an internal cover 7 continuous thereto, the internal cover 7 is slidably supported by the support member 20, a connection part of the external cover 6 to the internal cover 7 is slidable, and the covering width of the rain gutter cover 1 and the support member 20 between the roof tip part Ra and the external open edge Ta is adjustable.
