The camera (10) has a camera unit (20) which is pivoted and tipped for tracking a photographed object, by pivot movement of a housing (30) receiving the camera unit together with a tipping drive, for movement of the camera unit within the housing. The pivot drive is contained within a second housing (40) together with a control unit for providing an interrupt signal for each drive and controlling the pivot and tipping movement direction for tracking the object.
