PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button sewing machine which is capable of improving working efficiency and eventually productivity and is also capable of preventing the breakage of a sewing machine needle and the damage of a button by sewing the button at the optimum sewing speed meeting the conditions of the button, such as thickness of the flat button and the hole depth of the marble button or at the moving timing of a material to be sewn. SOLUTION: This button sewing machine is provided with sewing machine control means 30 and 31 for controlling the driving of a sewing machine motor 15 in such a manner that the rotating speed of the sewing machine is determined according to the information on the depth of the hole of the button and that the sewing machine is rotated by the determined rotating speed.
