PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the dimensional variation of a front body and a rear body due to the molding, and to attain the accurate dimensions in connecting both bodies. SOLUTION: The camera body constituted by joining a casing-like 1st body to which a photographic lens can be attached and a 2nd body having an opening and also having a reference plane for positioning a recording medium, is characterized in that the 1st body is brought into contact with nearly the same plane as the plane with the opening formed.
