PURPOSE: A wired multi-number system and an access method are provided to support a convenient wire phone call service by giving a plurality of virtual phone numbers to a single wire phone line. CONSTITUTION: A wired multi-number system is composed of a caller phone(10), a communication service provider's exchange(20), and dialed phones(40,50A-50C). The exchange(20) processes a call connection signal from the caller phone(10). The caller phone(10) and the exchange(20) and the dialed phones(40,50A-50C) and the exchange(20) are connected through a PSTN. The exchange(20) has a database to provide the key number data corresponding to dialed number IDs. The dialed phones(40,50A-50C) consists of a central phone(40) and a plurality of sub phones(50A-50C). The central phone(40) has the key number. Virtual phone numbers are individually appointed to the sub phones(50A-50C).
