The system comprises a DTMF receiver (100) for converting DTMF signal to digital data and for transmitting digital data through terminals (QA-QD), a decoder (200) for decoding digital data so that power control signal of VTR (16) and function selection signals for VTR is generated and transmitted through output terminals (S0-S3,S7-S9, S13) , a power control circuit (300) for generating power control signal for VTR (16) and for transmitting power control signal through output lines (120-122) by receiving output signal of the decoder, and a function control circuit (400) for generating control signal for selecting rewind, pause, and play function of VTR by receiving output signal of the decoder.
