A grille apparatus (20) for a vehicle includes a first cover (21) arranged at an opening portion of a front grille (2), a second cover (22) arranged at the opening portion of the front grille (2), and a drive mechanism (30) changing a relative position of the first cover (21) and the second cover (22) in response to a driving force of a drive source (25), in which the drive mechanism (30) changes an opening amount of the front grille (2) by performing an opening operation moving the second cover (22) to a rear of the first cover (21), and by performing a closing operation returning the second cover (22) to a fully-closed position (P1), the fully-closed position (P1) before moving the second cover (22) to the rear of the first cover (21) while maintaining the first cover (21) and the second cover (22) within the opening portion of the front grille (2). |
