PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow control method and a blow control apparatus for realizing an optimal (inexpensive) blow.SOLUTION: Blow calculations are executed by using, as variables, the molten iron temperature and molten iron P concentration at the time of the commencement of a blow for computing costs of auxiliary ingredients presumed necessary during the blow. Next, multiple points of combinations of molten iron temperatures and molten iron phosphorus concentrations at times of commencement of blows minimizing auxiliary ingredient costs thus computed are computed as candidates of the combination of a target molten iron temperature and a target molten iron phosphorus concentration at the time of the commencement of a blow so as to compute a target candidate characteristic line α. Moreover, a preliminary treatment operation line &bgr; expressing the relation of the molten iron temperature and molten iron phosphorus concentration varying during the molten iron preliminary treatment is predicted based on the molten iron temperature and molten iron components prior to the commencement of the molten iron preliminary treatment. The target molten iron temperature and target molten iron phosphorus concentration are then determined based on the target candidate characteristic line α and preliminary treatment operation line &bgr;. |
