The present invention addresses the problem of simplifying authentication processes. Provided to that end is a communication system equipped with an authentication device, which is located in a first network, and a management device, which is located in a second network. The authentication device uses a user ID to authenticate a first communication terminal located in the second network, maintains the first communication terminal in a state of being logged into an information providing service, and uses an authenticated token, which contains the user ID transmitted to a second communication terminal located in the second network, to authenticate the second communication terminal. |
