The tool (100) has a sealing device (210) i.e. hollow tube-shaped seal, pressure-tightly closing an inner space relative to an outer space, which surrounds the tool, during a closing process of the tool. Tool halves (110, 120) include consolidating regions (130, 150), where a fiber-plastic composite semi-finished material (170) e.g. organic sheet, is consolidated to a fiber-plastic composite by interaction of the consolidating regions during a consolidating process of the tool. An evacuating device evacuates the inner space during the closing process.
