PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forward tiltable wheelchair that is provided with a pedaling function.SOLUTION: A forward tiltable wheelchair comprises: pivot means 14 pivoted in a base frame so that a body frame 1 can be tilted to the forward tilting position relatively bent forward with a base frame 2 from a regular position till a footrest 5 comes up to a ground or a ground vicinity part; and elastically stretchable means 20 capable of being operated between a reduced position and an extended position so as to tilt the body frame provided between the body frame and the base frame from the regular position to the forward tilting position. The forward tiltable wheelchair further comprises: coupling means 30 for coupling the body frame to the base frame; and locking means for restraining a motion of the coupling means in response to both of a pedaling position lock and a regular position lock in the coupling means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
