PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that uses an external translation service while maintaining confidentiality of the original sentences, and changes a rule base used for replacing secret phrases in the original sentences into alternative phrases.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 uses a replacement rule base R1 to replace secret phrases in the original sentences into alternative phrases and transmits the original sentences after the replacement to a translation server. When receiving translated sentences from the translation server, the image forming apparatus 10 uses a replacement table T1 to replace translated phrases of the alternative phrases in the translated sentences into translated phrases of the secret phrases so as to create translated sentences after the replacement. When receiving input of an instruction to change the replacement rule base, the image forming apparatus 10 changes the replacement rule base R1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
