<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an image processing system processing and outputting an inputted image to easily omit compression processing of an unnecessary image. <P>SOLUTION: An image distribution apparatus comprises: a resolution conversion processing part 221 which acquires inputted image information and processing designation information designating image processing which has to be executed in distribution processing and compresses the acquired image information; and a bar code reading processing part 223, an OCR processing part 225, and a document output part 230 which execute the image processing designated by the processing designation information.
