The invention is directed to a fixed fire-fighting system for large industrial tanks, comprising: an aerated foam projecting nozzle in fluid communication with, located proximate, to and downstream of, an ambient air aeration chamber; the nozzle and aeration chamber structured together for producing foam; the nozzle having a stream shaper in its tip; the nozzle affixed to a tank so as to discharge a substantially focused stream roughly horizontally along an inner tank wall; and a centrally directed nozzle affixed proximate an upper portion of the inner tank wall, attached to the aerated foam projecting nozzle and located and structured so as to forcefully project toward the center of the tank.
