PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infant shoe capable of securing safety while water or the like is hardly accumulated in the inside in the play with water, allowing a foot to easily perform walking motion, and capable of securely holding the foot. SOLUTION: The infant shoe 1 includes a sole part 2 and an upper part 3. A toe holding part 31 to cover the toe of a user is formed in the toe side of the upper part 3, and a heel holding part 32 to cover the heel of the user is formed on the heel side of the upper part. The toe holding part includes an area of the upper part corresponding to a toe bending area C for the user to bend the toes in walking. An upper opening part 33 for drain is formed at least on a side surface side of the upper part. The upper opening part is formed in the intermediate region between the toe holding part and the heel holding part. An air-permeable upper ventilation part 34 is formed on the upper surface side of the upper part, and a closely-adhering recess 34a is formed in a part corresponding to the heel side of the upper ventilation part above the toe bending area.
