摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an output value of one adsorption amount sensor 41 representative of an adsorption amount of a whole canister 1.SOLUTION: In the canister 1, a first adsorbent chamber 12 and a second adsorbent chamber 13 which are charged with adsorbents 11 are connected in an U-turn shape via a connection passage 18. In an end portion of the first adsorbent chamber 12, a purge port 5 and charge port 6 are provided and in an end portion of the second adsorbent chamber 13, a drain port 8 is provided. A temperature-sensitive element which generates heat by being electrified and of which the resistance value is changed in accordance with the temperature is used for the adsorption amount sensor 41 and based on temperature equilibrium of the adsorption amount sensor 41, the local amount of the carried adsorbents 11 is measured. A measuring point of the adsorption amount sensor 41 is disposed in an area of the second adsorbent chamber 13 closer to the connection passage 18, such that reliability of the output value can be improved while excluding influences of moisture in atmospheric air and influences of uneven distribution during charge.
