PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target detection device which can readily recognize positional relation between each target and one's own vehicle, even when there are a plurality of targets around the one's own vehicle.SOLUTION: A target detection device includes: a GPS receiver 8 for detecting a position of one's own vehicle; a database 19 for storing position information of a target; a control unit 18 for extracting the target as a display object, on the basis of the position information detected by the GPS receiver and the position information of the target stored in the database; and a display unit 5 for displaying the position information of the target extracted by the control unit, and one's own vehicle position information. The display unit is configured so that the positions of a plurality of targets and the current position of the one's own vehicle are informed by target icons arranged on a two-dimensional plane. |
