This in-wheel motor drive device (21) is provided with a motor unit (A), a decelerator unit (B), a wheel bearing unit (C), a casing (22), and a lubrication mechanism for supplying a lubricant to the motor unit (A) and the decelerator unit (B). A motor rotation shaft (24) of the motor unit (A) drives rotation of a decelerator input shaft (25), which has eccentric portions (25a, 25b); the decelerator unit (B) reduces rotation of the decelerator input shaft (25) and transmits said rotation to a decelerator output shaft (28); and the wheel bearing unit (C) is linked to the decelerator output shaft (28). In this in-wheel motor drive device (21), the lubrication mechanism comprises an oil passage (22b) in the decelerator unit (B) which discharges lubricant inside of the decelerator unit (B) to the motor unit (A), and an oil passage (22f) of the motor unit (A) which discharges lubricant inside of the motor unit (A) together with the lubricant from the decelerator unit (B) into an oil tank (22d), and in the motor unit (A), a partition plate (80) is provided which guides the lubricant from the decelerator unit (B) to the oil passage (22f) in the motor unit (A). |
